hello hello!
i just finished my econs assignment so i'm in a very good mood now (:. it took me one day to do it even though at first glance the assignement's not very long. try drawing econs graphs on microsoft word then you'll know how cumbersome it is. but other than that i probably took so long to finish cos i kept giving myself breaks heh.
you know here they taught demand and supply in just 2 weeks! to think we spent at least one term on it in jc, and i still didn't really grasp it until much later! i'm so thankful i took econs in jc, if not i would probably be struggling with econs now.
my easter break is coming to an end very soon :( it just zoomed by!
it started off last friday with easter camp which lasted til monday. i had an awesome time there. i went there quite stressed about school work but during the camp God spoke to me in so many ways and i just felt so much peace and i was reminded to persevere (: camp was a good time of meeting and getting to know people as well (:
the other night, i went for some stand-up comedy with my friends. it's part of the comedy festival that's running now. basically there are a lot of ongoing comedy shows so you can go for whichever you want (and pay for it). we chose one which featured the top interstate comedians thinking it sounded very proper and good. it turned out to be quite the contrary! it was in a rather small room so the show was pretty interactive. they asked members of the audience what their names were and were they were from (including us). and some of the topics they touched on... well, let's just say they would be taboo back in sunny sg.
so i wouldn't say i enjoyed myself but it was definitely an eye-opening experience. it's good to hear how other people think so we aren't jing2 di3 zhi1 wa1s. that's part of the point of studying overseas.. to be exposed to other cultures and ways of thinking. i am suddenly reminded of our econs madam's action of curling your hands to leave a set of holes to see through with our eyes O_O
remember the titans is a really good movie!
